PHYSICAL PAIN
“I was recently injured with significant burns to the face, both arms and hands from a propane explosion. Though, very grateful to have a friend like Kristine, I was quite skeptical of hypnotherapy as it was not a traditional kind of treatment I am familiar with. However, I agreed to try it to manage the pain I experienced at the hospital. Surprisingly, through the hypnosis I was able to refocus and relax to the point where the pain was bearable. To aid in the healing process, I also used hypnotherapy to sleep better as I consider it almost like a form of meditation or relaxation.
I appreciated Kristine’s help to get through this tough period and encourage anyone who may need assistance with issues such as pain management or having difficulty relaxing to be open and give hypnotherapy a try.”

ANXIETY
KRISTINE!!! I only needed 2/3 the amount of sedation today. My pulse and BP remained steady throughout. So to test the hypnotherapy, they let me come out of sedation a little early. I was fully awake the last 15 minutes of dental work and I was FINE!!!! They were all amazed given our last appointments and my history. They all wanted your contact info so I passed it on to the hospital dentistry team.
So much smiling!!!

Thank you so much for the session in Core Transformation. It’s a few days later and I’m still enjoying the benefits of a peaceful knowing that all is well. I feel calm, centered and focused. Thank you again for coaching me to discover the inner bliss that is and always was there. I’m sleeping well and looking forward to another session.
Thank you!!

DIFFICULTY SLEEPING
I want to thank you. My sleep has been steadily improving. I am falling asleep faster and I am able to fall asleep after I wake up in the night.

SELF INTEGRATION
WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY ?Hypnotherapy is a type of psychotherapy that utilizes hypnosis to create a deep sense of relaxation where individuals can calmly and gently explore the underlying challenges and sub-conscious blocks that they are wishing to work on. Its all about slowing your thoughts down and processing them without forcing responses.
Most people think of hypnosis used for entertainment: "you are getting sleepy", "cluck like a chicken" stereotypes when they think of hypnosis. However, this is an extremely dramatized projection of what hypnosis is. When hypnosis is used in therapy, it is used to create a serene and calm state of mind for the client/patient so that they are more able to cope with past and present stressors as well as future concerns. The limbic (flight or fight/reflexive) part of the brain turns down so the cerebral cortex (thinking/processing) part of the brain can be the boss!! |
HOW DOES IT WORK ?We all have a part of the brain called the Limbic system. This is our busy monkey reactive area. This area stores information and experiences as emotional responses. This is where our reflexive thought responses come from: our fear, flight or flight, panic switch is in this area of our brain. This area is required for safety and survival but sometimes it becomes over stimulated and over active. When this happens cortisol and other stress hormones are produced. These substances create the feeling we call fear or anxiety: muscle tension, breath holding, jaw clenching and other stress responses. When this area is stimulated, it is in control of our responses. it produces automatic emotional reflex responses that we seem to have very little control over. This is because when our limbic system is in the drivers seat, our rational, problem solving, thinking area of the brain is not!! Hypnotherapy brings our limbic responses to a low level so that we can process and change our automatic, reflexive emotional responses.
|
HOW WILL IT HELP ME ?Once the limbic system is disengaged, we are free to explore the experiences and situations that stimulate it. In a calm and relaxed state, the limbic system will let our processing brain take over and restructure the way we process certain stimulation and information. Then we can create different emotional reactions to things that may have made us uncomfortable or fearful in the past. Some uses for hypnotherapy are:
